This mix was created by Dr Bach to deal with emergencies and crises- the moments when there is no time to make a proper individual selection of remedies. It can be used to help us get through any stressful moments, from last- minute exam nerves to the aftermath of an accident.
Rescue Remedy is the most famous of the remedies, but in fact is not 'a remedy' at all. Instead it's a blend of five different remedies:
* Rock Rose- terror and fright
* Impatiens- impatience
* Cherry Plum- fear of the mind giving way
* Star of Bethlehem- shock
* Clematis- dreaming of the future without working in the present
The crisis formula, Rescue Remedy, is designed to help deal with immediate problems. If you are working through an underlying problem- or if you need rescuing every day- you will find a longer- term solution by using a personal blend of remedies. (Use the Special Mix option)
The mix here is Rescue Remedy provided in a 50ml drop dose bottle. It uses the Mother Tincture of Bach Remedies, Rescue Remedy, spring water and good quality Brandy as a preservative, and is blended to reduce cost to the client in a larger bottle size. Mixes can be preserved without the Brandy if this is a concern- just mention this in the checkout notes.
Dose is 6 drops on the tongue up to 6 times a day. It can be added to a glass of water and sipped throughout the day. Can be taken for as long as needed but is generally only required for up to 2 days.
This formula can also be used on wounds and other physical ailments. Can be given to animals that have experienced shock, a fright or trauma. Very helpful for pets that get stressed going to the vets or groomers, during thunderstorms or fireworks. 2-4 drops added to pets drinking water, on a treat or food, or rubbed on to the paws or ears. Plants also respond well to this remedy if stressed and needing some extra nurturing.
